Welcome to WMR's Open Race Camp Page! Here is our full listing of Race Camp Opportunities offered by West Mountain Racing. All Camps listed below are open to all US Ski & Snowboard Alpine competitors! Our camps are lead by WMR Alpine Race Director Steve Lathrop. If you are not a WMR member, please make sure to select WMR Guest rate when registering. 2021 Sunday River Fall On-Snow Camps (full updated informational sheet attached below)
Please join us for our Annual Sunday River Fall Open Ski Camps in Sunday River Maine. Registration for the Day Camps is now Open! We offer a 5-day (Nov. 20-24) and 8-day (Nov. 20-27) day camp option in November, and a 3-day (Dec 3-5) day camp option in December. The updated informational sheet is attached below.

Who can participate?

USSS U12-U19 Ski Racers, Ages 10-18.

Check in is at 9:45am each day. Camp runs from 10am-3pm each day. Camp fees do not include lunch. Camp Fees for non-members includes a ticket for each day. 

2022 WMR Summer Conditioning Camp at West Mountain

Please join us for WMR's 5-day Summer Conditioning Camp for Sports Enthusiasts, lead by WMR Alpine Race Director Steve Lathrop. Lunch not included
Meets from 8:30am-4pm Monday-Thursday/8:30am-12pm on Friday
Who can participate?
Sports Enthusiasts Ages 10-18.

The Camp incorporates several drill work stations focusing on many of the US Ski Team training systems such as endurance, mobility, strength, power and motor skills. In addition to conditioning exercises, athletes will acquire knowledge about the important elements of dryland training, which are important for successful ski racing

2022 Mt Hood Summer Ski Camps (full informational sheet below and registration is noCam]w open)

Please join us for our Annual WMR Mt. Hood Summer Ski Camps! Our Mt. Hood Summer Ski Camps, lead by WMR Alpine Race Director Steve Lathrop, are Open to All USSA members! You can register by clicking the Red "Click Here to Register Button at the top of the Home Page." Full Camp fees cover food (3 meals a day), beautiful lodging, lfit tickets, coaching, lane space and transportation to and from the condo to the mountain for training. Each camp trains 8 days on-snow, with 1 day off.  More information will be available soon!
